We offer a range of intermediate and advanced classes where we delve more deeply into the methods and processes used in geometric design. The classes focus on different aspects of technique and design looking at geometry and pattern from sites around the world.
Classes have a specific focus with the objective of developing a deeper understanding of the topic as a whole. We explore the patterns in detail working through the underlying structures within them as well as the history and application of these patterns.
We update our classes regularly and multiple times, so take a look and see what we have on offer. All current classes are listed below. You can also contact us if there is a specific class that you want us to run again or a specific topic that is of interest to you.

Join us for an immersive 8-week course that takes you beyond the patterns of the Alhambra.
Each session, we'll explore a unique and stunning pattern from around the world, delving into its history and cultural significance. Guided step-by-step, you'll learn to draw these patterns using traditional tools—ruler and compass—before transferring and tessellating your design.
You'll also discover various techniques and approaches to painting as you develop your artistic skills.
After instruction, you'll have time to begin painting your work in class, with the option to finish it at home.
Who Should Join?
This course is open to everyone—whether you're a complete beginner, a hobbyist, or an experienced artist looking to master a new technique, geometric art offers an accessible and enriching experience.

We will have two seperate Classes, a morning class on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and an afternoon class on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The morning class commences on October 9, 2024, and concludes on November 20, 2024. The afternoon class commences on October 8, 2024 and concludes November 19,2024.
Materials:
Students will need to purchase some art supplies, such as a sketchbook, watercolour paper, and paints. Compasses will be provided for those who don't have them. A detailed list of required supplies and where to purchase them in Granada will be provided upon enrollment.
Pricing:
€300 per person for the 8 week course.

Join our monthly pattern club, where we gather in the studio to explore and draw a new pattern each session. This time we are going to step beyond the patterns of the Alhambra, embarking on a global journey, discovering and creating patterns from around the world.
Each session will focus on a different design, looking at where it comes from and how it’s created, guiding you step-by-step as we draw together, followed by a Q&A and a chance to share your work.
One of the unique aspects of this world of geometry is the sense of community each course fosters, building connections and friendships as we explore the beauty of geometric patterns.
I look forward to seeing familiar faces regularly!

No experience is required!
Whether you're new to art, a casual creator, or a seasoned artist looking to add a new technique to your repertoire, this course offers a welcoming and accessible environment for everyone.

We’ll start by looking at grids that will allow you to extract various patterns, optimising what you can understand about patterns as you progress.
To maximise our time together, we'll focus on drawing rather than painting, ensuring that we can dive deeper into pattern work and understanding.
This approach will help you take as much knowledge as possible with you.
In person - One Day Intensive
